Donyatt Parish Council are very aware of the regular flooding that Donyatt now endures almost every time there is significant rainfall. The Parish Council has submitted flood alleviation plans to Somerset Council and continue to try and resolve this issue – link below.

It has been noted that one major factor is the “run off” from adjacent farmland which blocks the drainage system. We continue to liaise with Somerset Council and other authorities to try and improve the situation.
